Monkey Business is an ejuice by Australian vape juice manufacturer ‘Sydney Vape Co‘. Their sample pack was sent to me for the purpose of review but that fact will not change my opinion or the reviews on the juices, as usual this review will remain 100% honest.
You can purchase this juice individually in 15ml, 30ml & 60ml sizes. The prices for these are $7.99 AUD for 15ml, $14.99 AUD for 30ml & $24.99 for 60ml. It is a little bit more on the expensive side for an Australian juice especially for the 30ml but these are in glass dripper bottles which I assume cost more to the manufactuer. Unfortunately being an Australian juice company, you cannot buy these juices with pre-mixed nicotine so you would have to do this yourself if you do like nicotine in your juices. Hopefully one day these juices will be sold overseas so you will be able to buy them with nic or better yet, this country might finally do the right thing and legalise nicotine juices here in Australia.
The first thing I am going to talk about is just the sheer quality of the sample box. It is in a gorgeous magnetised flap box and the juices are presented beautifully in a felt lined enclosure. The juices and their profiles are illustrated underneath the top flap of the box and it really does scream quality. The sample box would cost you $49.99 AUD which includes the box and 8x 15ml juices. The quality of the packaging and labeling of these juices is just awesome. I love the graphics on everything, they are simple yet they stand out.
One thing I will mention but this is more of a personal con, is that i’m not a fan of the glass dripper bottles. I find that they are messy to use and can break if you were to drop them. In saying that though, the quality of the sample box is made even more apparent with these glass bottles. I did have issues opening about 3 of the bottles though and had to use a screwdriver to get the lids off, this may not happen to you but I thought i’d mention it.
Now let’s talk about the juice up for review. This one is called Monkey Business and the juice profile is described by Sydney Vape Co as: “Our office monkey has suited up and whipped together some serious Monkey Business. Peanut butter cheesecake with banana cream and custard filling.”.
The peanut butter comes through quite nicely in this juice and there is a slight hint of banana but in my opinion the flavours aren’t quite strong enough or sweet enough. It seems that a lot of the Sydney Vape Co juices I have tried now are all very similar in terms of the flavour and sweetness lacking a bit but in saying that, I actually enjoyed this juice although it’s not one I would rush out to buy or try again.
One other thing I have noticed so far with the Sydney Vape Co line is that a lot of the juices have the same underlying taste. It’s very hard to explain but it’s almost like all of the flavours are built off the same base flavour and then some extras are added and tweaks are made. It could just be the concentrates they use i’m not 100% sure. In my review I state that this isn’t a bad thing but I must admit now that I don’t particularly look forward to trying the next Sydney Vape Co juice because of this.
In summing up the review on this juice, it’s not something that I would personally buy or try again but that’s just my opinion. It did have some nice flavour but it just wasn’t strong enough. In saying that though, I did finish the whole bottle and it was an easy all day vape so it’s definitely not horrible. For someone who enjoys a more mellowed out flavour, this is a juice you might enjoy.
